Nobody would have expected anything else if someone like the former Scorpions and UFO guitarist appeared as a solitaire; But what Michael Schenker has built up in the last 50 years, what he has achieved, who he influences and who has played with him, fills books and is the stuff of the hard rocking myths. In keeping with his 40th anniversary as a solo artist and on his 50th birthday as a musician, he is therefore returning with the immortal Michael Schenker Group. "Immortal" is the name of the work that was recorded by what is probably the strongest line-up of his long career, a dervish from an album that jumps out of the speakers so fresh, hungry and agile that the ears of all the youngsters out there should be glowing.
