When The Who give a concert in their hometown on the occasion of their 50th band birthday, concert halls are no longer enough. Something bigger is needed, Hyde Park to be precise. And they sold it out completely on June 26, 2015. A total of 65,000 spectators celebrated the big anniversary together with the band.
"The Who: Live In Hyde Park" is the name of the film that captures this live spectacle for eternity. The mixture of concert and documentary film shows a band that does not show its age, on the contrary: Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend deliver an electrifying show. They are accompanied by Ringo Starr's son Zac Starkey on drums, Pino Palladino on bass and a breathtaking light show.
